All DRUUMM members—longtime supporters and first-time participants alike—are warmly invited to join us for our 2025 Annual Meeting, held in person and online as part of DRUUMM Village at General Assembly. This is a time to gather in community, celebrate our shared ministry, and chart a faithful path forward.

We’ll begin with song from our special DRUUMM Choir, and a remembrance of our ancestors led by Rev. Manish Mishra-Marzetti and our DRUUMM Chaplain Team. There will be an opportunity to make new connections and reflect on what brought us to DRUUMM and what keeps us grounded in this community.

Outgoing President Esperanza Flores Garza will offer an overview of our strategic progress, and Treasurer Sean Alphonse will share financial updates. Our trusted Administrator Noemi de Guzman will present on community building and upcoming programs, alongside our Community Minister Rev. Joseph Santos-Lyons.

We’ll celebrate the 2025 Mel Hoover Beloved Community Award honoree, Aisha Hauser, with remarks by Rev. Danielle Di Bona and Rev. Mel Hoover. Tomi Fatunde, our incoming President will lead us in honoring outgoing leaders.

Our Nominating Committee—Michelle Venegas-Matula, Isaac Castro, Ayanna Jones, Rev. Sana Saeed, and Karin Lin—will present election results, welcoming new Steering Committee members Rev. Michael Crumpler, Rev. Angeline Jackson, and Yvonne DuVal.

Whether you’re joining us in Baltimore (lunch provided) or online, we hope you’ll come to witness, to be nourished, and to recommit to our collective journey of BIPOC Unitarian Universalist ministry.🫱🏽‍🫲🏾 RSVP and learn more at druumm.org/events.
