DRUUMM is seeking a new part-time ministerial intern for the 2025-2026 program year. This transformative opportunity invites passionate and justice-driven seminarians, students, and religious professionals to gain hands-on experience in community ministry, pastoral care, and leadership development within our thriving Black, Indigenous and Communities of Color in Unitarian Universalism.
As the largest multicultural ministry in North America, DRUUMM provides a unique space for spiritual growth and collective action. Interns will work remotely, supporting a network of over 800 members and friends while collaborating with dedicated volunteers and part-time staff. Responsibilities include nurturing faith formation, offering compassionate pastoral care, developing leadership programs, and advancing anti-racism and anti-oppression initiatives.
This part-time position (20 hours/week) offers a salary of $1,750/month. The internship is eligible to fulfill the Ministerial Fellowship Committee (MFC) requirements for UU ministry candidates. Interns will have opportunities to lead worship services, facilitate community gatherings, and participate in national events like the DRUUMM Village at General Assembly and our 2026 National Gathering on March 26-29, 2026. Special thanks to Rev. Carol Thomas Cissel who is helping lead this new program.
